Where to Stay | The Pulitzer Amsterdam

When planning my trip to Amsterdam, I knew exactly which hotel I wanted to stay at the amazing Pulitzer hotel. The Pulitzer is located in the ideal location just down the street from the Ann Frank House. It is a collection of 25 Carriage houses that have all been meticulously converted into a one of a kind hotel. The hotel, first started by Peter Pulitzer (the grandson of Pulitzer Prize founder, Joseph Pulitzer) in 1960, was recently renovated in 2016 and is one of the very first 5 star hotels in Amsterdam.

The charm of the Pulitzer from the outside is equally matched by the inside. Each of the carriage houses are connected by beautiful glass walkways and the suites are all named and designed after different collections (art, music, books, and antiques). There are 2 restaurants and a bar also located on the property.

Perfect for couples, multi generation and young families, they will all enjoy the Pulitzer. The staff was so helpful, from check in to the concierge to the porter who brought my luggage to my room and explained which carriage house I was staying in and the history behind it. This place is a gem in the perfect Amsterdam location. I can not wait to go back.
