Where to Stay | Arlo Soho

Hello Friends!!!

I just returned from a wonderful weekend in NYC which I will be posting all about here on the blog over the next few days.  It has been a while since Ive gotten to explore NYC solo, and I had the chance to stay at the Arlo Soho hotel.

Arlo is an independent hotel located in New York. They have two locations. The Arlo Nomad located near the Empire State Building and the Arlo Soho located near the Holland Tunnel. Since I love the Soho and Tribeca areas of New York so much, I knew it would be the perfect spot for me and it did not disappoint.

I have to say I have stayed in a lot of different types of places in New York,- Air BNBs, Hiltons, Marriotts, hostels. But out of all of them, this was the best customer service experience I have ever had.  The front desk staff were phenomenal. Super attentive and even had a car service on stand by to take me back to the airport on Sunday.

The Arlo advertises itself as a “Micro-hotel” meaning the rooms are smaller than what your typical American hotel room would be. But what the rooms lack in space they make up for in design and efficiency. Every part of the room is laid out in a really functional way.

I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers, couples, and girlfriends looking to have a relaxing space to crash after a long day in the city. The property hosts 2 bars, a restaurant, and a bodega that offers snacks, drinks and a Dylan’s candy bar location. The hotel also hosts events for guests including a jazz band, yoga on Sundays, movie nights, and even during the cold winter of January they had heated tents set up in both the courtyard and rooftop bar for guests to enjoy.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Arlo and would love to help my clients get there! Let me know if you are looking to book a stay in NYC. This is definetly a property worth checking out.
